Tokyo Seaman's Hall

A Facade Inspired by Sailing Ship Imagery Enhancing Hotel’s Competitiveness through Renovation 5 Years after Opening

A lodging facility for seafarers nationwide. Constructed as part of the Harumi 3-chome Area Redevelopment's Block C, replacing the rights conversion of the former Tokyo Harumi Seamen's Lodge. The business hotel features well-equipped meeting rooms for training sessions. It’s facade combines a beige granite base with white undulating small tiles on the upper floors, evoking imagery of sailing ships swaying at the harbor. Rooftop greenery on the lower levels harmonizes with the greenery of Block A1 across the street. Five years after completion, the interior of traditional Japanese-style guest rooms was renovated to enhance business hotel competitiveness.
