This apartment complex is located at the gateway of Tsukuba Research Academic City – in front of Research Academic City Station. With a prime location at the station square, the design aims to create a civic landmark. The standard floor facade, forming the iconic frontage, employs an out-frame structural system with large off-white modules at the forefront. This maintains the ordered streetscape image of advanced cities while expressing dynamic yet sophisticated character, aligning with the future-oriented Research Academic City. The lower-level residential common areas and retail spaces adopt a hotel-like design with soft textures and muted tones, emphasizing tactile appeal. By balancing the geometric urban fabric (prone to inorganic impressions) with the sophistication of residential quality, the project creates a landmark identity that harmonizes advanced urbanity with livability.
