Soejima New Steel Fabricant Plant in Utsunomiya

This is the Kanto region base of an H-grade steel fabricant plant whose headquarters is located in the Kansai region. It is divided into a plant building with a total length of over 150 meters and an office building of 50 meters. The interior of the plant and the external yard are functionally connected by handling and conveying equipment (such as cranes, etc.) to form an integrated plant line. The lighting is supplemented by roof skylights and side windows. The steel columns and beams visible through the windows are painted in various colors, making the produced steel frames bright and rhythmic in appearance. At the factory entrance, colorful canopies in red, blue, and yellow are also prominently displayed. Given the purpose of the factory, "functionality" and "rationality" were prioritized in the planning. However, at the same time, there is also the hope that through these colorful elements, additional values such as "brightness" and "fun" can be embodied.
