SKF Building

Building Expressing Corporate Identity

SKF, founded in 1907, is the world’s leading bearing manufacturer headquartered in Sweden. This building serves as the headquarters of its Japanese subsidiary, SKF Japan Ltd. Addressing complex site conditions, the design integrates a high-rise section with maximally efficient office spaces and a low-rise section with alleyways that harmonize with the surrounding fine-grained urban fabric. The high-rise is clad in shimmering blue reflective glass curtain walls, embodying the company’s technological leadership and cleanliness, while the low-rise features red brick masonry walls evoking Nordic streetscapes.
