Recruit Kobe Building

The office building remained by the Hanshin big earthquake

A rental office building located along Sannomiya Flower Road in Kobe. The design incorporates a twin-core floor plan which was optimal both the site's constraints and tenant requirements. The exterior features a simplified composition combining the iconic reflective glass curtain wall of Recruit's building with dark gray-painted aluminum panels. Constructed with a seismic system with K-shaped steel braces are strategically integrated to enhance seismic performance. During the Great Hanshin Earthquake, while surrounding buildings suffered catastrophic damage, this building remained structurally intact with no exterior cladding damage, proving its exceptional seismic resistance and safety.
