LOOP-X

The Glass Box that Stands Out on the Waterfront

This is an office building facing the Rainbow Bridge loop in Tokyo Bay. Since it was designed with a single-sided core, the standard floor has secured a column-free office space of 1000 square meters and it’s also suitable for small-scale partitioning. The first floor is composed only of a lobby and pilotis. By surrounding it with large curved glass surfaces, an open and elegant entrance has been created. The exterior is covered with a curtain wall using reflective glass of three colors. While maintaining simplicity, the aim is to create a facade that can reflect the ever-changing light of the waterfront and subtly change its appearance. In addition, this project, together with the apartment building located in the same area, makes use of the comprehensive design system.
