Kobe Isuzu Recruit Bldg

Building Featuring an Open L-Shaped Office Plan

A headquarters and leased office building near JR Sannomiya Station in Kobe, facing National Route 2. Jointly planned by Isuzu Motor's Kobe and Recruit as a shared facility, the design capitalizes on the corner site by consolidating cores at the adjacent corner and creating an L-shaped office layout along the road. The facade incorporates heat-reflective glass curtain walls integrated with natural ventilation systems. Constructed with a seismic steel frame with K-shaped braces. During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, while surrounding buildings suffered damage, this building remained structurally and also externally intact, contributing to regional safety.
