Approved by the Governor of Kagoshima Prefecture, this professional school building for information and business education was established in 1987. The site is close to Kagoshima's business area, facing the green "Central Park" and has a long square shape toward the back. Designed during the era of personal computer proliferation and the rapid advancement of the 1990s internet, the vertically stretched facade embodies futuristic anticipation: an aluminum and monotone sash grid evokes a computer’s technological image while creating an uplifting atmosphere for students. Renamed KBCC Kagoshima Information Business Civil Service Professional School in 2017, the building has remained a beloved learning hub for nearly 40 years since its completion.
