Atagotiku Urban Renewal(F)

Atago area is an approximately 0.6 ha area with convenient access to Toranomon Hills Station and Kamiyacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, with Mt. Atago on the west side and Atago Shita-dori Avenue on the east side. Area F high-rise building has a curved edge at the corner of Atago Shita-dori Avenue, creating a soft form that harmonizes with the surrounding landscape. The glass part of façade blends in with the sky, and while taking the landscape into consideration, we aimed to create a design that is soft, appropriate for the city center, and gives the building a unique presence. The redevelopment project includes the integrated development of open spaces and buildings, such as a plaza integrated with the approach to Atago Shrine and a green space to extend the greenery of Mt, Atago, as well as the widening of Atago Shita-dori Avenue and the development of the slope of Mt. Atago. This project will bring the renewal of urban functions and the advanced use of land with a focus on residential functions into this area.
